2010-2011 ANNUAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
As you may know, ticket sales cover less than 10% of our production and operating costs. We rely on contributions from individual donors like you to sustain the organization and allow us to continue offering high quality performances of choral masterworks to Houston audiences. Our goal this season is to raise $15,000 from individual donors and we are asking for your support.
•
A gift of $50 covers the sheet music for one orchestra member for the season.
•
A gift of $100 keeps our phone and internet lines connected for one month.
•
A gift of $250 pays for part of the airfare to bring Paul Salamunovich to Houston.
•
A gift of $500 underwrites the stipend for one Young Artist Competition winner or covers
the fees for one orchestra musician for one performance.
•
A gift of $1,000 enables us to offer chorus membership and scholarship support to one
young choral musician in training as part of our Music Education Initiative.
•
A gift or $2,500 underwrites the rental of the hall for one performance.
We hope you will consider making a tax-deductible contribution to help HMC sustain its activities this season. Every dollar helps!
Many thanks in advance for your support and best wishes this holiday season!
You can support Houston Masterworks through direct donation, concert sponsorship, placing an ad in concert programs or by volunteering your time. Houston Masterworks is a 501(c)3 organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
